About Us
The club was started in May 1994 with just four members. The club has links to the past and the title Thirsk Bowmen dates back to the 19th Century. The club continues to grow each year and there are now over 100 members, including a junior section.

The club members are from all walks of life, covering all ages and abilities. We have one thing in common – we enjoy archery.
Some members are keen to progress and shoot in competitions while others prefer a more relaxed approach and enjoy the shooting and the company of friends.
The club is based at Baldersby Park just outside Topcliffe, approximately four miles from the centre of Thirsk. The club has a number of archers with disabilities and the club house is wheelchair friendly.
